Inuyasha lost his Father, a demon, and his mother, a human, to death. He was left to raise himself, for his half-brother, Sesshomaru hates Inuyasha. Inuyasha, being a half demon, was an outcast among the demons and humans, so he had nobody to turn to. He mainly stayed in the forest, and sometimes came into the nearby village. Inuyasha now travels around with a small group to complete two major goals. One, to kill a demon named Naraku, and two, to collect all the fragments that once made up the Shikon Jewel. He loved Kikyo, until she "betrayed" him and pinned him to a tree with an arrow putting Inuyasha into a sleep that would last 50 years. Kikyo was brought back to life by a Demon, but is only made of dirt and bones (she looks decent for being made out of dirt). Now that she is back to life, Inuyasha still shows his love for Kikyo, he seems to have some interest in Kagome, though its difficult to see who he will choose.

Kagome lived a normal life in Tokyo, Japan on an ancient shrine her Family took care of. She was pulled into an old well on eh grounds by an evil demon, bringing her back in time to Fuedal Japan where Demons are around every corner. Kagome meets Inuyasha, and learns that she is the reincarnation of the late priestess, Kikyo. The Sacred Jewel was found inside of Kagome prooving even more the fact that she is Kikyo's reincarnation, but the Jewel soon falls into the hands of a demon and it is shattered into hundreds of fragments, scattered across the land. Inuyasha and Kagome, along with some others, join together in search of the Sacred Jewel Shards, if they are to late evil could take over the land.
Kagome is kind, but can be fairly agressive when need be. She has become an excellent archer since she first came into the Feudal Era, and now has the power to shoot Sacred Arrows. She grows to love Inuyasha, and is constantly trying to decide if she can compete with Inuyasha's first love, Kikyo...

Name: Miroku

Miroku is a monk, who believes in helping the common man. Though sometimes he becomes sidetracked by pretty women. He is considered a pervert by the rest of the group, and tends to be slapped/beat up alot due to his bad habits. The Wind Tunnel in his right hand may seem strong, and an excellent weapon in battle, but is a deadly curse placed apon his family. His grandfather, was tricked by the demon Naraku, and had the black hole placed in his hand. The hole soon devoured Miroku's Grandfather, and the curse was passed down, so Miroku's father experienced the same fate. Soon Miroku himself will be sucked into his own hand.
Miroku is a generally nice guy, though he is a little rough around the edges. He needs to focus a little more, but otherwise isn't half bad. He's an excellent fighter when it comes to battle.

Name: Sango

Sango lived a happy life living in the Demon Slayers' villiage. Her Father was head of the village, and she was considered one of the best. Her brother, Kohaku, was learning the arts of Demon Slaying and prepared to go on his first kill when he was 11. One day, the most skilled slayers were summoned from the villiage, and once they were gone, Demons were sent to attack the village. Every person there was slaughtered. The Demon Slayers were killed as well, all accept Sango. She managed to survive, but was tricked by Naraku (he set up the whole scheme) into thinking that Inuyasha killed all the villagers, and that he was her enemy. She soon realized the truth, and joins Inuyasha and the others on their journey to collect the Jewel Shards, and destroy Naraku.
Sango is a strong individual. She has excellent skills when facing off against demons in all areas. Kohaku, her brother was killed along with the rest of the Slayers, but was equipped with a Jewel Shard in order to give him life. Sango wants to win him back, to make him be able to live once more and remember her. She is a nice person, and would never abandon anybody in a tough situation.

Shippo is a young, orphan Fox Demon. He lived with his father and mother until something happened. His father obtained a jewel shard, and the Thunder Brothers, from the Thunder Demon Tribe, killed Shippo's Father for the shard. We Don't know what happened to Shippo's Mother, but she is mentioned. Shippo meets up with Inuyasha and Kagome, and goes with them in order to avenge his Father's Death. He does - in a way - and continues to travel with Inuyasha and the others.
Shippo, because he is so young, can be a pain sometimes. He doesn't really contribute alot to the group, and is easily frightened. Ocasionally he will transform into his pink bubble thing and scope out the surrounding terrain. Overall, he is really just there, but may have something to offer in the future.

Name: Kirara

Kirara is Sango's pet demon. At first she lookes like a cute furry cat but in battle, she transformes into a big scary cat demon who can fly and is very helpfull in battle.Sango's pet demon. When we first see her, she's actually pretty huge and scary-looking with a demon's head in her mouth. Kirara has become a significant portion of the group's fighting squad. Personality: This feline demon is very protective of Sango and her friends. She can't speak, but she's still smart enough to completely understand what other people are saying. Note: In episode 26, we see a short scene near the end in which Kirara is standing with Midoriko, the powerful miko who first "created" the Shikon no Tama, so Kirara must be really old. Skills: When in her big size, Kirara can fly, carrying perhaps three people on her back. She's also got huge, saber-cat-like teeth and claws that are good for hand-to-hand fighting, but they're not too useful against very powerful enemies.

Appearance/Story: Almost looks like Kagome except there is a difference of their hair. She wears a white top and red bottom of her kimono. She has beautiful white skin. And obviously she is a priestess she is more mature than you think. Okay she appeared on the first episode. She was the one who shot Inuyasha to a tree and also Inuyasha's first love. Before the show even began, Inuyasha was about to steal the Shikon no Tama until Kikyo stopped him by being prepared to shoot him. But she let him go and she got the Shikon no Tama back. Inuyasha kept following her everywhere. One day they went on a boat and this time, Inuyasha expressed his feelings to her. And they both kissed. They were both in love for a couple of days. A demon named Naraku wanted the Shikon no Tama so badly, he disguised himself as Inuyasha. He then attacked Kikyo and got the jewel and got away with it. The real Inuyasha wanted to become human so he can stay with Kikyo forever, but instead he changed his mind on becoming a full demon. Now Kikyo thinks Inuyasha betrayed her. And this part leads to the beginning of episode 1 you already know what's it about. And she was resurrected and now her soul is like sad and regretful. Personality: Kikyo is the sad and regretful and also still is the type of Kikyo she was when she was still alive. She is now allowed to love or hate Inuyasha. Everyday seems only full of misery for Kikyo. She is kind, loyal and loving. Still her heart is full of hatred. She has a cold heart. She is a bit evil. Love: Her love is Inuyasha. She still loves him but sometimes doesn't. In this part of section, you can learn more about Kikyo. She tried to send him to hell once! Most of the time she makes Kagome jealous by having Inuyasha love her more than Kagome. She now acts like a kind person to Inuyasha whenever he's around and gives him advice. She calls Kagome "a little fool" and somehow hates her. Kikyo is like the one that is creating a war with Kagome of whose the best and for Inuyasha.

Naraku has long black and wears something a lord would have. Naraku sometimes appear with a fur coat and a mask. Naraku is main bad guy here. He appeared like in episode somewhere in episode 4, I think. Well he tricked Kikyo and Inuyasha into hating each other, he cursed Miroku's grandfather and father and also Miroku for the Wind tunnel. He tricked Sango that Inuyasha killed her brother Kohaku. And it's all because of the Shikon no Tama. He is the one who gets the group into big situations. He took many innocent lives by using other demons to kill them in the search of the Shikon no Tama and also the perfect trap for the group. Personality: He is mostly evil, devious, and crazy. He wants the Shikon no Tama to become more powerful. He has done many repulsive crimes and yet he still doesn't have the Shikon no Tama. Every time he meets the group, he always escapes. He is a hand you and even before that he was also known as Onigumo. A thief who died of being burned and has a spider shaped scar on his back. He uses demon's bodies all because normal body is too weak. Love: He has feelings for Kikyo although he tricked her into hating Inuyasha. Naraku should rethink what he is doing there is no way Kikyo will love Naraku by hurting her. Weapons/Powers: Naraku is so evil that he uses demons as weapons. He uses them to kill. He also use some of the shards of the jewel as weapons. He uses them to control people and demons. He uses black magic. He uses demon puppetry to protect himself. He even created incarnations! The first one was Kagura, Kanna, Goshinki, Kageroumaru and Juuroumaru, and then Hakudouji. He is such a scaredy cat so he won't get his butt kicked!

Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's older brother, but unlike Inuyasha, he is a full demon. The two of them share a mutual and bitter hatred for each other and they won't hesitate to fight the moment they lay eyes on one another. Also unlike Inuyasha, Sesshomaru despises humans, which is the main reason why he's unable to obtain the one thing he wants most; Inuyasha's sword, Tetsusaiga.

Kouga is the leader of the Wolf-Demon Tribe. And as such, he has many wolf-like habits, such as eating raw meat and living in a cave with his pack. He also has two Shikon shards, one in each leg, that allow him to move incredibly fast. One day, while letting his wolves run wild and sabotage a village, he ran into Inuyasha's group. He was shocked that Kagome could see the Jewel shards inside of him, so he decided to kidnap her and use her power to others shards. Soon after Kouga fell deeply in love with Kagome. Kagome doesn’t like him back but Inuyasha still gets jealous when Kouga is around. Kouga would do ANYTHING for Kagome.

Rin talks a lot (oo like me!), asks a lot of questions (me 2), and is very loyal to Sesshomaru. She follows him around and trusts him completely (Hey I would trust someone who saved my life 2). After all, she wouldn't be alive if he hadn't saved her. Rin brings out a side of Sesshomaru that we wouldn't normally see. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's father were both full youkai that fell in love with a human. I think Sesshomaru is capable of doing the same. He protects Rin even though she is only a "mere" (like Sesshomaru would say) human.

She is part of Naraku's body. Kagura have the powers of the wind she can make wind and she can make it stop. She want to be free like everyone else, but every time she try to get away from Naraku she pay. Naraku have her heart and she cant to anything about it. The only thing is when Naraku it's dead she can be free or she will die.

She is like sister for Kagura, but we can say she is because her body it's from Naraku's body. Kanna doesn't talk so much but she have mirror that has specula powers. Kanna have the powers like: to take souls, to take souls from dead person, to control someone and more like this.

He was posesed and killed his fauther, his fellow villager and almost his sister. He was being controled my Naroku. Kohaku has no choice but to do whatever Naroku says even if he would hate to do it.

When Ayome was young, she fell in love with Koga. When she met Koga again years later he had forgotten about her. She was extreamly jelous that Koga loved Kagome so much. She decided she would hate Kagome. But her hatered didn't last long. Her and Kagome are know friends. Ofcaurse, she is still jelous, Kagome doesn't like Koga back.
